Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Tap That website and the purchase of goods and services from Everything Water & Energy Ltd t/a Tap That (“the Company”). By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Definitions

1.1 "The Company" refers to Everything Water & Energy Ltd t/a Tap That.
1.2 "The Customer" refers to the individual or business placing an order with the Company.
1.3 "Goods" refer to products supplied by the Company, including taps, accessories, and related items.
1.4 "Contract" refers to any legally binding agreement between the Company and the Customer for the purchase of goods.

2. Website Usage

2.1 By using this website, you agree not to:

  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity.

  • Interfere with the website's functionality or security.

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without permission.

2.2 Cookie Policy:
We use cookies to enhance your browsing experience. By continuing to use our website, you agree to our cookie policy.

3. Product Descriptions and Availability

3.1 Product images are for illustrative purposes only. While we make every effort to ensure descriptions are accurate, slight variations may occur due to manufacturer updates.
3.2 All goods are subject to availability. If a product is unavailable, the Company will notify the Customer and may offer an alternative product of equal or greater value at no extra cost. If the alternative is declined, a refund will be issued.
3.3 Goods are sold as fit for general purposes unless stated otherwise.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 All prices include VAT unless otherwise stated.
4.2 Payment is required at the time of order unless otherwise agreed. Accepted payment methods include:

  • Credit or debit cards.

  • PayPal.

  • Bank transfer.

4.3 Prices are subject to change without notice. If a pricing error is identified, the Company will notify the Customer and provide the option to reconfirm or cancel the order.

5. Delivery Policy

5.1 Orders are dispatched via a trusted courier service (e.g., DPD) on a 48-hour service. Delivery times are estimates and may vary.
5.2 Delivery charges:

  • Orders under £50 incur a £3.98 delivery fee.

  • Orders £50 and above qualify for free delivery.
    5.3 Delivery is available to Mainland UK, with additional charges for the Channel Islands or Southern Ireland.
    5.4 Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed the next working day.

6. Returns and Refunds

6.1 Change of Mind:
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, notify us within 48 hours of receipt. Goods must be unused, unopened, and in their original condition to qualify for a refund. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer.

6.2 Faulty or Incorrect Goods:
If goods arrive faulty, damaged, or incorrect, notify us within 2 working days. The Company will arrange a return and cover the cost of return shipping for approved cases.

6.3 Refunds:
Refunds will be processed within 10 working days of receiving and inspecting returned goods. Refunds will be made via the original payment method.

6.4 Return Address:
The return address will be provided upon contacting us.

7. Warranty

7.1 All products are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty when installed and maintained according to the supplied instructions.
7.2 Warranty claims must include proof of purchase and be reported to the Company as soon as possible.
7.3 The warranty does not cover:

  • Fair wear and tear.

  • Damage caused by improper use or installation.

  • Modifications made without the Company’s approval.

8. Risk and Ownership

8.1 Risk in the goods passes to the Customer upon delivery.
8.2 Ownership of the goods remains with the Company until payment is received in full.

9. Cancellation Rights

9.1 Customers may cancel an order up to 14 days after receipt under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
9.2 If goods have been dispatched, the Customer must return them at their own expense.
9.3 Refunds for cancelled orders will be processed within 14 days of the goods being received back in a resaleable condition.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1 The Company is not liable for:

  • Loss or damage caused by improper installation or use of the goods.

  • Indirect or consequential loss.

10.2 Liability for faulty goods is limited to the value of the goods supplied.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
